BIRTHDAY PARTIES

The Zoo provides a great venue for Children’s Birthday parties. We have a large picnic area with covered picnic tables and a substantial Play structure. Although we sell Chippies, chocolates, drinks and ice-creams, the food is a ‘bring your own birthday picnic affair’. You won’t have to go overboard on the food as the kids will be excited enough with a visit to the zoo to feed the animals and to have a pony or train ride. We have BBQs you can hire for $15.00 or you are welcome to bring your own. Alternatively, there is a great fish & chip shop only 100 metres down the road. A great family outing! 

BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• Deposit does not include zoo entry
• Only 1 session in birthday barn can be booked 
• Time slot includes set up and clean up (you will not be able to come in before we open at 10am)
• Kitchen facilities are for heating, not cooking food - we can provide a jug, microwave and pie warmer & fridge
• We do not provide party accessories, please bring your own: party food, music and speaker, table cloths, BBQ utensils if hiring BBQ, eating utensils and serviettes, cleaning cloth, party games etc. 
• We must be informed of your payment plan i.e. are you paying zoo entry for everyone in the group? or just for children/immediate family? Alternatively provide us with a list that we can cross off upon entry, so guests are charged the discounted rate when they pay at reception (Please make sure your guests know if they are required to pay for themselves on entry)
• No deposit refunds - we are still open if it is raining, bring along your raincoats & gumboots and the kids will still have fun!

• Discounted entry to the zoo in groups of minimum 20 people
• A good time regardless of the weather, seating up to 40 people 
• $100 non-refundable deposit for 3 hour hire
• Time slot: 10am - 1pm OR 1.30pm - 4.30pm
• $15 BBQ hire
