This venue is proving to be very popular with kindergartens, Te Ko Hanga Reo, Schools, Rest Homes, Holiday Programs, Scout groups, Birthday and Christmas Parties, Family orientated work functions.

Although you can stay as long as you like, the recommended stay for schools or kindergartens is around 2 hours.
Animal food is available from the zoo shop for $1.00. We recommend one punnet of animal food per adult supervising groups of pre-school children or one between 2-3 older children is sufficient to get a good hands on experience with the animals.
When available, there will be lamb feeding and a sheep shearing demonstration for school groups of 30 or more.

We can also accommodate pony rides with group bookings, we have plenty of quiet ponies and can get 6 ponies going at a time.
Entry for groups of 15 or more is $6.00 per person (Adults and Children). Bookings essential. One Payment for the group. Eftpos available, Cash ,cheque or credit cards.
